Nerve Conduction Study (NCS) — Measures how fast and well electrical signals travel through nerves
EMG — Neurologist-administered — measures muscle electrical activity
HbA1c — Diabetic neuropathy is one of the most common causes
Vitamin B12 — Deficiency is a common, treatable cause of nerve symptoms

What normal doesn't rule out

the underlying cause with certainty in every case — some nerve conditions need further specialist workup (MRI, additional blood panels) beyond this screen.

Not the right fit if

you have sudden-onset weakness or paralysis — that needs emergency evaluation (possible stroke), not a scheduled screening visit.

Preparation: Wear comfortable clothing allowing access to the limbs being tested. NCS/EMG involves mild electrical stimulation — brief discomfort, no lasting effects. || Collection & eligibility: Home service coversblood collection only.
