LFT — Liver enzyme activity and protein levels
Viral Hepatitis Markers — HBsAg, Anti-HCV — rules out viral causes of liver disease

What normal doesn't rule out

fibrosis staging with complete certainty at higher BMI — ultrasound elastography accuracy can drop in obesity; F17-T3 (MRI) is more reliable in that situation.

Not included

MRI-based measurement (see F17-T3, more accurate at higher BMI)

Not the right fit if

you have symptoms of acute liver disease — that needs urgent clinical evaluation, not a screening test.
