Viral Hepatitis Markers — HBsAg, Anti-HCV — rules out viral causes of liver disease

What normal doesn't rule out

the underlying cause of fibrosis if found — MRE measures stiffness, not the specific disease process causing it. That needs clinical correlation with your history.

Not included

Liver biopsy (only needed in specific cases, via hepatologist referral)

Not the right fit if

you have symptoms of acute liver disease — that needs urgent clinical evaluation, not a screening test. Also not for patients with MRI contraindications (certain metal implants, severe claustrophobia) — discuss with our team before booking.

Preparation: Remove metal jewellery and inform our team of any implants before your MRI. No contrast dye is used for this scan. || Collection & eligibility: Home service coversblood collection only. MRI requires a centre visit. Self-bookable, no referral needed.
