What normal doesn't rule out

a negative result does not rule out infection completely — rapid antigen tests have lower sensitivity than PCR, especially early in illness. If symptoms are severe or persist despite a negative rapid test, see F18-T2.

Normal

Negative — monitor symptoms; retest or escalate to F18-T2 if they persist

Borderline

Inconclusive result — consider F18-T2 for higher-accuracy testing

Abnormal

Positive — follow standard isolation/treatment guidance, consult your physician
