Total Body Scan

F23 · Advanced Structural Imaging
₹24,000Diagnostics only
With a full-body MRI, are there any silent structural findings I should know about — and how is my brain structurally, too?
Best for

Adults 40+ with family cancer history or specific risk factors — explicitly not intended as a blanket reassurance test for asymptomatic average-risk adults, per current radiology guidance.

Time at centre: ~60–90 min scanPreparation: No metal implants*Report: 3–5 days (extensive imaging review)Booking: Appointment-based, eligibility screening mandatoryCollection: Scan: Centre only
Before you book — please read: Eligibility for this package is screening information only. Metal implants, pacemakers, claustrophobia, age, or risk profile may apply. This does not block booking — our clinical team confirms eligibility in person at your visit.
⚠ ACR: evidence insufficient to justify total-body screening without symptoms/risk factors; incidental findings possible — eligibility screening required before booking (ACR)
What's included
  • Whole-Body MRI — No radiation, no contrast — structural scan of major body regions
  • Advanced Brain Health Scan — Dedicated structural brain imaging
  • Radiologist Report — Comprehensive review of all findings

What normal doesn't rule out

that you are cancer-free or disease-free — a normal scan reduces but doesn't eliminate risk, and MRI has known limitations for detecting certain cancer types. This is explicitly not a validated population-screening tool per current radiology guidance.

Not included

  • Contrast-enhanced sequences (not used in this protocol)
  • Follow-up of any incidental finding (arranged separately if needed)

Not the right fit if

you're under 40 with no risk factors, have any MRI contraindication (certain metal implants, pacemakers, severe claustrophobia), or are seeking this as routine reassurance without specific risk factors — current evidence doesn't support that use.

Preparation

Preparation: Remove all metal jewellery. Inform our team of any implants, pacemakers, or history of claustrophobia before booking — this determines eligibility. No contrast dye is used. || Collection & eligibility: This is acentre-only scan— no home service applies. A mandatory eligibility screening (age, risk factors, MRI safety) is completed before booking is confirmed.

Result pathway
Normal
No significant findings — repeat only if new risk factors emerge, not on a routine schedule
Borderline
Incidental finding of uncertain significance → radiologist recommends appropriate targeted follow-up
Abnormal
Significant finding → prompt referral to the relevant specialist
Urgent
Truscan's clinical team follows up per internal escalation protocol
Clinically relevant

Add-ons matched to this package — not “frequently bought”.

  • Strongly relevant: F24 Hereditary Cancer Panel — if family cancer history is your primary reason for this scan, genetic testing may be a more targeted first step
  • Sometimes relevant: F22 TriScan — a lower-cost, more targeted alternative if cardiac/metabolic/bone risk is the primary concern rather than broad structural screening

If you want more coverage

Whole-body MRI frequently identifies incidental findings of uncertain significance. Our team discusses this explicitly during eligibility screening, before you book.
